One Click Orgs (OCO)and the London Hackspace are collaborating on a project on the intersection between software development and cutting-edge law: to virtualise the governance of corporations.

The London Hackspace is taking part in the development of One Click Orgs, and will shortly become a user of software they provide for governing organisations. This will change the way that members of the hackspace can affect the running of the space significantly by making decisions more transparent, introducing a voting process, etc. 

The OCO software platform is in an early development stage, and already supports virtualised unincorporated associations, and development work on this continues as well.

But on this particular hack evening it's going to be all about getting the platform ready for the London Hackspace, and its move towards a company limited by guarantee. Check out the list of open issues on github to get a sense of what we're up to.

We're welcoming contributions of any kind. At the moment we're very interested in contributions by web software developers (a familiarity with Rails would be a big plus) and web designers. But if you're just curious and want to have a chat with us, by all means stop by!
